Spent the whole day in Michigan. Drove up from just above Lansing, MI to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. From there, Traverse City, over the Mackinac bridge to the Upper Peninsula (UP), and around the coast of Lake Michigan.

Michigan is a cool state from what I’ve seen. I could take or leave Detroit, but the interior of the Lower Peninsula, Ann Arbor, the national parks, Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, and the UP are all great.
This whole road trip is kind of a scouting mission to see what’s good. Planning to revisit MI at some point, there’s more to see here.
