On the way out of WI I drove through this area called the Wisconsin Dells for gas. I went in blind, turns out the whole town is a bizarre tourist trap with stuff like a giant Trojan horse, faux Greek temples, Transformer statues, all kinds of movie tie-in theme parks etc. Weird place.
Drove through Madison on the way to Chicago but didn’t have a chance to stop. Seems cool, also didn’t realize it was a college town.
Got to Chicago late afternoon. Going to spend a few nights in the city before heading West.
