Left the campsite around Bear Lake, UT as the sun was coming up.
There was meant to be a solar eclipse this morning, so I hiked up into the hills to try get a good vantage point.
Turns out cloud cover was too thick, but you could still see the crescent shape:
Uneventful day’s drive to Jackson, WY. Seems like a bit of a tourist trap but maybe it’s fun in winter.
On to the long-awaited Yellowstone tomorrow morning.
